Weekly Reflection Week 8

Something I have enjoyed this week is
This week I enjoyed going to the St. Georges production, Battle of the bands. It was about bands coming together and facing each other in a contest. I liked the band called The knights, who won the contest.

I have also enjoyed making a card by doing pointillism. First we had a look on the computer of some ideas. Then we made a draft picture in our art book. Next we got a cotton bud and some paint and dabbed it on the piece of paper. It is like painting but you are dabbing it on the paper and not stroking the paint on.

My goal for next week is
My goal for next week is to get all my work finished on time.

Should Carlton Have a Uniform?

Carlton students should wear a school uniform

Firstly, they make the students look tidy. Carlton students look like they belong and look smart in the Carlton uniform. Students look equal and other students can’t bully them about what they are wearing.

Secondly, the uniforms make students look proud that they go to Carlton school. The uniform reflects the colours of the school and it has the school logo on it.

Lastly, the students don’t have to worry about choosing their clothes in the mornings because the school has selected the outfit for them.

Carlton students should wear a school uniform because overall, it is the best choice. It is tidy, it reflects Carlton school and everyone looks equal.

Weekly Reflection Week 7

Something I have enjoyed this week
This week I have enjoyed inter- school athletics. It all started with a sound of a gun fire. The race had started. I wasn't in the race I was on the seat cheering for the people from my school. Next was the race that I was meant to be in but I did not realize that it was my race because the teacher did not tell me. There was another girl from my school that was in the race that I was meant to be in and me and my friends that I was sitting next to were standing up on the seat and cheering really loud for her. People around us were staring at us probably thinking that we are really loud. At the end she came 1st. We were also cheering loud for her when she was in the sprinting race and she came 1st again. She is really fast.

I saw the sign saying 4 D. Finally it was my activity. I was doing quoits. Before we began a lady explained to us how to throw it and what to do. I was at the end of the line so I had to wait a while. Finally it was my turn. I my first two throws were good but my last one was bad because I let it go too early and it hit the tall fence around me. I don’t know what I came. That was my last race. I had fun at athletics.

My goal for next week
My goal for next week is to sit in different places in the classroom each day.
